About Us
Specialists in musculoskeletal healthcare
Our Story
Bettr Health Physio started in 2023 by owner Sam Kent. We are an independent clinic that specialises in musculoskeletal (MSK) healthcare.
In addition to Physiotherapy, our advanced practice status allows us to offer services such as medication prescribing, requesting imaging such as MRI or X-rays, and offering MSK injections such as Cortico-steroids, Hyaluronic Acid, or Arthrosamid.
Our range of in-house services means you have access to a range of treatment options to help you recover faster without waiting on referrals elsewhere.
Our commitment is to offer the best possible assessment and treatment that is tailored to you, using evidence backed treatment and our years of clinical experience, and to offer fast access to the latest and most effective treatment.
Meet the Team
Sam Kent
Owner of Bettr Health, Sam has over 10-years of experience as an MSK Physiotherapist. He has worked in several private practices, professional sport, and still holds a position within the NHS as a clinical specialist Physiotherapist within Orthopedic triage.
Sam is completing his advanced practice master’s which means he has additional capabilities compared to a traditional Physio’s, such as being a qualified injection therapist and being an independent prescriber for medication.
“My approach to Physiotherapy is that communication and education are key. The more you understand the problem, the better equipped you are to take the correct actions to get better. Beyond this I love to get people working on their strength and conditioning to build them up and prevent future issues. Finally, I often use manual therapy treatment as it can be a great way to settle pain very quickly.”
